Founded by Bobby Hu and Henry Xin in late 2025, two automotive professionals with over a decade of experience in premium car sales at Doncaster BMW, Carmen was created to bridge the gap between luxury and accessibility in modern travel.
After years of helping customers find their perfect drive, Henry and Bobby saw a clear shift coming. The world was moving toward smarter, more flexible ways to get around — yet traditional car rental hadn’t kept up. Long waits, hidden fees, and outdated systems didn’t reflect how people actually wanted to move.
So they built Carmen — a rental experience designed for the next generation. Seamless bookings. Transparent pricing. Premium vehicles. No unnecessary friction.
The name ‘Carmen’ originates from Latin, meaning song, chant, or poem — a symbol of harmony, storytelling, and connection.
