GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Carmen Rental’s website (crental.com.au) and your booking, hire, or use of vehicles through Carmen Rental. By making a booking, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Carmen Rental is part of H & T Consulting Pty Ltd, a business partner of Melbourne Motorsport Group Pty Ltd.
Booking and Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Carmen Rental.
Prices are inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST), but do not include delivery fees. Prices may change, and any updated price is effective immediately upon posting on the Website.
While we take reasonable care to ensure pricing is correct, in the event of an obvious pricing error, we may contact you for instructions. If the order is processed under a mispricing that should have been recognized, we may end the contract, refund you any payments made, and request the return of any products provided.

Bank Transfer
Payment must be completed at the time of booking. Carmen Rental reserves the right to cancel bookings where payment is not received or is declined.
Vehicle Use
Vehicles may only be driven by individuals named on the booking who hold a valid driver licence and meet any age requirements.
You must comply with all applicable laws while using our vehicles.
Vehicles must be returned on time, in the same condition as at pick-up, and with a full fuel tank (unless otherwise agreed).
Any damage, fines, or tolls incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the driver.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellations are governed by Carmen Rental’s Cancellation & Refund Policy, available on our website.
Key points include:
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up.
Partial refunds apply for cancellations after this period.
No refunds for no-shows or early returns unless otherwise approved.
Full refunds for cancellations initiated by Carmen Rental.
Insurance and Liability
Vehicles come with standard insurance coverage, as outlined in your booking confirmation.
You are responsible for any damage or loss not covered by the insurance.
Carmen Rental’s liability is limited to the refund of payments made for the rental period.
Customer Conduct
You must not use our vehicles for illegal purposes, racing, or towing.
Smoking, unapproved modifications, or transporting hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.
Breach of these rules may result in immediate termination of the rental, reporting to authorities, and additional charges.
Privacy and Personal Information
Your use of our services is governed by Carmen Rental’s Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable law.
Changes to Terms
Carmen Rental may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and will apply immediately. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from your booking or use of our vehicles must be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
